Follow-up Actions on CHASER Event Reward Exploitation

Dear Maplers,

We would like to provide an update on the actions taken against accounts that exploited the CHASER event rewards.
Following a thorough investigation, 14 accounts have been identified as having excessively abused the event mechanics.

As a corrective action, all additionally obtained rewards from the CHASER event through exploitation including items and character progressions have been removed. Account suspension will be lifted following the patch update of 12th March 2025.

We would like to take this opportunity to reiterate our stance. Exploiting game mechanics is a serious violation of our Terms of Use and Abuse Policies. Strict action will be taken against any user found engaging in such activities to protect the integrity of the game.

If you encounter any unintended issues or potential loopholes, we urge you to report them promptly via the iBox system, or directly to our Game Masters so that appropriate measures can be taken. We wish to thank all Maplers for your understanding and continued support in keeping MapleStorySEA a fair and enjoyable game for everyone.

Heroes of MapleStory, Total Concentration! The Demon Slayer Corps have arrived in Maple World.
Fill the adventure journal as the Tanjiro class from the Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba animation, experience the Demon Slayer Corps' training alongside other characters, and receive luxurious rewards!

A [Tanjiro] class character is required in the same World to participate, but [Tanjiro] class characters cannot participate in this event.

To start, look for [Demon Slayer] First Encounter with the Demon Slayer Corps quest in the

event list at the left side of the screen.

Look for [Demon Slayer] Tanjiro's Maple Adventure quest in the

event list to unlock passive skill - Tanjiro's Support and active skill - Tanjiro's Support: Dancing Flash.
Important! A [Tanjiro] class character is required in the same World in order to accept the quest.

Tanjiro's Support can be found in the Beginner category under Skill and is available until 22nd April 2025, 2359hrs.

Note:

If Tanjiro's Support skill effect unlock date has not been passed, the skill level will not increase even if the [Tanjiro] class character meets the level requirement.

The skill level of Tanjiro's Support is shared among characters within the same World.

Zenitsu and Inosuke's Maple Adventure

Event Period: 12th March 2025, After v240 ~ 22nd April 2025, 2359hrs

Available to Level 101 or above, Zero character who has completed Story Quest Chapter 2.
[Tanjiro] class characters cannot participate in this event.

To start, look for [Demon Slayer] First Encounter with the Demon Slayer Corps quest in the

event list at the left side of the screen.

Talk to NPC Inosuke Hashibira located at Nameless Mansion and look for [Demon Slayer] Zenitsu and Inosuke's Maple Adventure quest to unlock Zenitsu and Inosuke passive skill.

Zenitsu and Inosuke can be found in the Beginner category under Skill and is available until 22nd April 2025, 2359hrs.

When entering a map with monsters within your character's level range, Zenitsu's gauge is automatically enabled. Defeat monsters within your character's level range to charge the gauge.
For every 100 monsters defeated, Inosuke is summoned to attack nearby enemies with Beast Breathing Fifth Fang: Crazy Cutting.

⇣

Once Zenitsu's gauge is fully charged, Thunder Breathing First Form: Thunderclap and Flash Sixfold is automatically activated to attack nearby enemies.

When Thunder Breathing First Form: Thunderclap and Flash Sixfold is activated, a large amount of EXP can be obtained by the character.
Zenitsu and Inosuke can be used up to 20 times per day per character and the limits reset daily at 0000hrs.

Note:

Monsters within the character's level range have a level difference of +20 or -20 compared to your character.

Beast Breathing Fifth Fang: Crazy Cutting and Thunder Breathing First Form: Thunderclap and Flash Sixfold will only activate on maps containing enemies within the character's level range. It will not activate on maps affected by an Elite Boss's Level 4 curse, event maps, or other special maps.

If another player has already activated Beast Breathing Fifth Fang: Crazy Cutting on the same map, the next instance will activate only after the previous one has ended.

If another player has already activated Thunder Breathing First Form: Thunderclap and Flash Sixfold on the same map, the next instance will activate only after the previous one has ended.

On instanced maps, Beast Breathing Fifth Fang: Crazy Cutting will activate immediately, regardless of other players.

On instanced maps, Thunder Breathing First Form: Thunderclap and Flash Sixfold will activate immediately, regardless of other players.

Moving to another map, changing channels or entering the Cash Shop will end Beast Breathing Fifth Fang: Crazy Cutting immediately.

To start, look for [Demon Slayer] First Encounter with the Demon Slayer Corps quest in the

event list at the left side of the screen.

After the scenario, you will be moved to Nameless Mansion. Talk to NPC Inosuke Hashibira to continue the quest.

⇣

Talk to NPC Nezuko Kamado located at Nameless Mansion and look for [Demon Slayer] Demon Slayer Corps Training Journal quest to unlock the Training Journal.

Complete one of the three tasks and select 'Record Training' to record your training for the day.

Starting from 19th March 2025, 0000hrs, unrecorded training from the previous week can be recorded by spending 3,000 Maple Points.
Select 'Use' to consume Maple Points to use a Training Journal Pass to log one training record.

Note:

Any task completed before accepting [Demon Slayer] Demon Slayer Corps Training Journal quest will not be counted.

Training Pass can only be used after 19th March 2025, 0000hrs.

Training Pass can be used as many times as there were unrecorded training in the previous week.

Training Pass available counts will be updated every Wednesday, 0000hrs.

Available to Level 101 or above, Zero character who has completed Story Quest Chapter 2.
[Tanjiro] class characters cannot participate in this event.

To start, look for [Demon Slayer] First Encounter with the Demon Slayer Corps quest in the

event list at the left side of the screen.

Talk to NPC Kanao Tsuyuri located at Nameless Mansion and look for [Demon Slayer] Demon Slayer Corps Training Experience quest.

⇣

When ready, talk to NPC Kanao Tsuyuri to participate in the Demon Slayer Corps Training Experience.
Important! All applied buffs will be removed upon participating in the Demon Slayer Corps Training Experience.

When the game starts, the Gourd Mark will move left and right. When it reaches the yellow highlighted zone, press the 'NPC/Gather' key to break the gourd!

⇣

If the 'NPC/Gather' key is not pressed before the Gourd Mark returns to the left side, you will fail, and the minigame will end.
After 40 successes or 1 failure, the minigame will end, and you will receive points based on the number of successes.

Note:

The Demon Slayer Corps Training Experience can be repeated, and obtaining a total of 300 points will unlock a daily reward.

Demon Slayer Corps Training Experience Rewards

After earning a total of 300 points in a single day, talk to NPC Kanao Tsuyuri at the Demon Slayer Corps Training Experience Exit map after the minigame ends to receive a 400x EXP Coupon.

Once you have accumulated a total of 3,000 points, talk to NPC Kanao Tsuyuri at Nameless Mansion and look for [Demon Slayer] Demon Slayer Corps Training Experience Gift quest to receive the Gourd Breaking Training Chair.

Note:

EXP Coupon reward can be obtained once per day per MapleID, up to five times per week.

The number of EXP Coupons that can be obtained resets every Wednesday at 2359hrs but will not reset on the final day of the event.

EXP Coupon can only be used on Level 200 or above characters.

EXP Coupon has a duration of 30 days and Inter-Account Transactions Only.

Gourd Breaking Training Chair can be obtained once per MapleID.

Coin Flip Challenge

Event Period: 9th April 2025, After Maintenance ~ 22nd April 2025, 2359hrs

Available to Level 101 or above, Zero character who has completed Story Quest Chapter 2.
[Tanjiro] class characters cannot participate in this event.

To start, look for [Demon Slayer] First Encounter with the Demon Slayer Corps quest in the

event list at the left side of the screen.

Talk to NPC Kanao Tsuyuri located at Nameless Mansion and look for [Demon Slayer] Coin Flip Challenge quest.

After accepting [Demon Slayer] Coin Flip Challenge quest from, a random training will be assigned.

When the minigame starts, choose either Heads or Tails.
There are a total of three stages, and you can only advance to the next stage by winning the round with the correct choice.
The minigame ends if you select the wrong side, and you will receive rewards based on the highest stage you reached.

Note:

Daily Training can be completed once per day per world and resets every day at midnight.

Coin Flip Challenge can be participated once per day per World.

Tanjiro Class Training Event

Event Period: 12th March 2025, After v240 ~ 22nd April 2025, 2359hrs

During the event period, Tanjiro Kamado will be available as a playable class for a limited time!
Max character slot has been increased from 54 to 55.
To start, select Create Character to go to the character creation screen.

Select Tanjiro Kamado to create a [Tanjiro] class character.

⇣

Enter your desired character name and start experiencing Tanjiro Kamado in the Maple World!

Note:

Only one [Tanjiro] class character can be created per World. If the current [Tanjiro] class character is deleted, you can create another one.

After the end of the event, the [Tanjiro] class character will automatically change to the Explorer class "Hero" at the same level.

During the event period, the following restrictions apply to the [Tanjiro] class character:

↪ The [Tanjiro] class character's appearance is locked to [Tanjiro], and any equipped beauty, avatar, or equipment items will not be visible.
↪ The use of certain chairs and mounts on [Tanjiro] class character will be restricted.
↪ [Tanjiro] class characters cannot use any chair or bed in My Home and Guild Castle content.
↪ Mega Burning Booster, Tera Burning Booster and Hyper Burning Booster cannot be used on [Tanjiro] class character.

Upon reaching a certain level as a [Tanjiro] class character, scenario quests are available.

Completed scenario quests can be viewed again by talking to NPC Parchment at Nameless Mansion, which can be accessed by selecting [Demon Slayer] Travel to the Nameless Mansion in the event list.

The [Tanjiro] class character cannot perform Genesis Weapon related quests.

Tanjiro Class Character Skills

Water Breathing Second Form: Water Wheel

Spins the entire body like a watermill to deliver slashes.

Beast Breathing Fifth Fang: Crazy Cutting

Inosuke periodically appears, levitating in the air and slashing enemies in all directions.

Water Breathing Fourth Form: Striking Tide

Crushes the target as if struck by a giant crashing wave, sealing their movement.

Water Breathing Sixth Form: Whirlpool

Twists the body powerfully to spin like a whirlwind and strike the target.

Thunder Breathing First Form: Thunderclap and Flash

Zenitsu appears, rushing toward the target at lightning speed and delivering a decisive slash.

Water Breathing Eight Form: Waterfall Basin

Brings down the blade with full force from above, delivering a slash as powerful as a waterfall.

Hinokami Kagura: Dancing Flash

A technique that combines the circular slashes of Hinokami Kagura's Dance and the lightning-fast charge of Thunder Breathing First Form: Thunderclap and Flash.

Once the mission's complete condition is met, the respective reward(s) can be received by selecting the 'Claim' button.
Important! the next mission will only unlock after the previous mission's reward(s) has been claimed.

If the next mission's complete condition is met before the previous mission's reward(s) has been claimed, it will be automatically completed upon unlocking.

If another character within the same World has completed Arcane River related story quests, the story quest skip function will be available. Relevant mission in the Growth Journal can be completed even if the story quests are skipped.

If the [Tanjiro] class character does not possess a Monster Park Free Admission Ticket after entering the Monster Park, the [Tanjiro] class character can still enter Monster Park to complete Growth Journal missions. In this case, EXP cannot be obtained.

[Weekly Quest] Erda's Request Revamp

Developer Notes

The Sol Erda quest previously required defeating 3,000 level-range monsters per day, making it more demanding than other events.
To make it easier to obtain Sol Erda, we have adjusted the requirement by changing it to a weekly quest and consolidating it into a single task.
In line with this improvement, the reward amount for Sol Erda has been adjusted accordingly, and only one character per account can now progress through the quest.

[Weekly Quest] Erda's Request has been simplified into a single weekly quest and can now only be completed once per week by one character per MapleID.

[Daily Quest] Erda's Request has been removed.

[Weekly Quest] Erda's Request completion requirement has been changed to 'Defeat 3,000 Authentic Field monsters'.

[Weekly Quest] Erda's Request rewards have been updated to 3x Sol Erda and 90x Sol Erda Fragments.

The tradeability of Sol Erda obtained from [Weekly Quest] Erda's Request has been changed from Untradeable to Inter-Account Transactions Only.

[Updated] The Weekly Quest resets on Monday (remains the same).

[New] Cash Shop Shopping Cart

New Cash Shop Shopping Cart function has been added.

Existing Wishlist function has been removed.

Check the box at the top right of each sales item to add it to your shopping cart.

Once a popup notification appears, the item has been successfully added to the shopping cart.

《0227(四)紅月之森的BUG說明公告》(03/10 15:19更新)

親愛的冒險者，您好：

在02/27(四) 午夜00點，紅月之森發生2個BUG：

1. 開啟道具<繽紛微風包袱>未能獲得<殘月精髓>的問題。

2. 紅月之森排名獎勵，可異常獲得第1名的獎勵的問題。

稍早暫時禁止紅月之森的商店與排行榜的使用功能，

而這2個問題已在02/27 16:30修正，目前排名公告欄可以正常使用，

但npc商店暫時無法使用。

關於<繽紛微風包袱>的問題，這周已經壞掉的玩家，不會因此修正恢復，

後續會調查撈取影響玩家，再進行補償作業。

可異常獲得第1名獎勵(破碎的龍鱗片*300個)的問題，

後續會對於錯誤支付的道具進行回收，關於回收方向後續會另行通知。

*02/28 16:30更新

針對<繽紛微風包袱>未能獲得<殘月精髓>的問題，進行以下方式處理：

1) 開啟包袱未獲得<殘月精髓>的玩家，支付<殘月精髓>1個。

2) 其餘全體玩家，支付<繽紛微風包袱>1個。(必須是02/27 23:59前創立的角色)

配發時間：02/28 19:00~03/13 23:59止。

透過左邊禮物盒領取，角色必須重新連線才可以看到禮物盒。

*03/04 19:15更新

1. 開啟<繽紛微風包袱>未能獲得<殘月精髓>的問題

經過先前02/28的臨時處理後，

不少玩家反應，依舊未能獲得從<繽紛微風包袱>未能獲得<殘月精髓>，

或是從02/28的禮物盒補償獲得<殘月精髓>。

經確認，這是特定情況才會發生的問題，所以將針對以下條件，支付<殘月精髓>1個。

1)時間區間：02/26(四) 00:00~03/06(四)00:00。

2)對象：開啟包袱後，未獲得<殘月精髓>的玩家。

*先前02/28已經獲得<殘月精髓>補償的玩家將會排除。

*補償配發作業，~~最快在03/07的白天進行~~。預計在03/10(一)進行補償作業 *03/07 17:25更新

所以還請玩家在03/06(四)00:00前，進行開啟包袱的動作，以便調查作業的進行。

若這週已經開啟過包袱，就不用再開包袱了。

2. 排名獎勵異常，導致商店暫時關閉與後續回收作業

將在03/05例行維護，針對領取異常獎勵的玩家進行回收作業，

~~回收<破碎的龍鱗片*300個>，若身上持有的碎片數量不足300個，~~

限制該帳號進行紅月之森商店的功能，必須繳回指定數量才能解鎖商店功能。

3. Chaser的<特殊調查-完成紅月之森2週>未計算次數的問題

經確認，這是特定情況才會發生的問題，

預計在03/05例行維護，添加補發機制，

受影響的玩家，點擊活動清單的CHASE：FATE，將會跳出下圖的補發資訊。

*03/10 15:19更新

1. 開啟<繽紛微風包袱>未能獲得<殘月精髓>的問題

針對<02/26(四) 00:00~03/06(四)00:00，有開啟包袱後，未獲得<殘月精髓>的玩家>。

統一在03/10 19:00進行補償，透過左邊禮物盒配發。

*必須在19點後，重新連線角色，禮物盒才會出現。

*必須使用當初開啟包袱的角色，才會看到禮物盒。

*若角色開啟包袱後有移民，禮物盒會配發失敗必須客訴個案處理。

2. 第1週(02/19~02/26)的紅月之森排名獎勵未正常獲得的問題

針對<02/29~02/26，有上排行榜>的玩家，補償應該獲得的<破碎的龍鱗片>數量。

統一在03/10 19:00進行補償，透過左邊禮物盒配發。

*必須在19點後，重新連線角色，禮物盒才會出現。

*必須是當初受影響的伺服器，才會出現禮物盒。

造成各位冒險者的不便，敬請多多包涵。

新楓之谷《0312(三) Chaser例行維護關機公告》

親愛的冒險者們：

全伺服器將於03/12(三)，08:00 ~ 14:00，進行例行維護關機作業，

請冒險者們提前做好離線準備並隨時留意官網公告，還請各位冒險者留意切勿登入不明假冒官網!

感謝冒險者們持續的支持，此段時間若有造成不便，敬請見諒~

一、遊戲說明

1. 官方人員不會透過遊戲內來與玩家通知中獎訊息，更不會於官網主動要求玩家輸入帳號密碼，請各位玩家不要前往來路不明的網址，以免帳號陷入盜客的風險中，bf帳號務必要綁定bf!APP並設定最高防護，才能獲得完善的防盜保護。

2. 請勿購買來路不明的點數以及商城道具，保障自身權益。

3. 楓幣商城、拍賣場、現金道具交換、宅配功能必須要創建超過3天且等級達到61等級以上才可使用；商城送禮則是需要創建超過7天和等級61等以上。

4. 常態維持艾麗亞伺服器限制創角，若艾麗亞伺服器沒有任何一隻角色，將會被限制新創角色。(但可以透過移民移入艾麗亞來解除限制)

5. 創世武器最多僅可使用至<罕見附加潛在能力賦予卷軸>，而<附加傳說潛在能力賦予卷軸>是無法使用在創世武器上，還請玩家留意此規格設定。

二、已知問題

1. 異常導致背包的其他欄位獲得紅月之森的副本道具(ex.古代技能卷軸[記憶/繼承]、變化的特殊藥水、保護憑證、遺物罈子、馬車的飼料)，這些道具只能在副本內使用。因此將預計透過3月12日維護進行相關道具的刪除作業。

2. 提爾諾格的職業標籤，<人氣王、重砲指揮官、槍神>顯示錯誤的問題。

3. 250等的指導，圖片顯示異常的問題。
